Whenever I try to update to Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family v9.4.0.1017, the installation finishes but the driver version in driver manager reads 9.3.0.1027. I believe the problem is caused from updating the driver to v9.4.0.1017, then installing the older version over the new version due to computer issues. The old version installed successfully, but it seems like the files from the new version were not successfully removed/overwritten. Does anyone know how to completely remove the chipset drivers so that I can start from scratch? I know that reformatting is an option; however, I would like to avoid that. If you need clarification, let me know.
