I have the same problem regarding display showing 'No input' after turning display off and back on again. Same problem when unplugging HDMI cable and reconnecting it again. Using latest BIOS and graphics drivers (Windows 7, x64). This problem makes the Intel NUC hardly usable when -next to the NUC- another device is attached to the monitor/TV.
Please let us know whether this issue is taken seriously at Intel and when we can expect a 100% solution.
